What is the best way to start a research project?
Great intentions, unlimited ideas and, obviously, no money.
This is the zero point, the moment when our brain has to start to work hard to bring us out of the mud.
Yesterday was Marco’s turn. He needs to place his hydrophones in the sampling area, but no sofisticated stations are available at CIBNOR. The only alternative is the classical “do-it-yourself” way.
After a ride to HomeDepot, he found some pvc valve tubes that could be used to keep the recording device of the hydrophone dry.
At the moment the tool is anchored at the harbour pier and this afternoon we are going to recover it.
Nervous to see if it really works!
